And now for something completely different… For the traditional HARMO social event, which will take place on Thursday 3rd, we chose to offer you a thrilling trip on the glass-covered decks of the Bateaux Parisiens. The waters of the River Seine have always been the heart and soul of Paris, dating back to the days when the Parisii tribe first established a fishing village on the island now known as Ile de la Cité — between 250 and 200 B.C. The boat will leave from the Tour Eiffel embankment around 8:30 pm and we will have supper and drinks served on small tables while sliding through the panoramic view of the glowing night, with spectacular features of some of the oldest and most majestic historic monuments. We should be back to the embankment before midnight, well in time to pick up the metro back to the hotels.
